Eyelet has metal rings threaded onto a pole, casual and modern. Pinch pleat is formal, sewn into folds at the top, hangs from a track. Wave is the cleanest contemporary look, runs on a track with gliders. Eyelet suits most homes.

Twice the window width, minimum. Two and a half times is better. A curtain cut the same width as the window hangs flat with no folds, looks cheap, and won’t close properly. We always measure for fullness, not just window size.

Yes, and most of our bedroom orders are. We line the back of the eyelet panel with a blackout layer. You get the modern header look on the room side and full light blocking on the window side. One curtain, two jobs.

Not really, that’s the honest answer. Eyelets need a pole, motors need a track. If you want motorization, we’d recommend switching to a wave or ripple fold header on a motorized track. We can show you both during the home visit.
