It all depends on the ward. For general wards, most infection control teams say every 3 to 4 weeks. ICU and isolation rooms should be swapped weekly. If laundering is a headache for your team, we also supply disposable curtains. Clip a fresh one by unhooking the old one.
Reusable ones are thicker and can go through industrial wash cycles. They last about 12 to 18 months before they need to be replaced. Disposable ones are lighter and recyclable. Most of our hospital clients run reusable in the general wards and switch to disposable in high-risk zones where infection turnover is faster. We carry both.
The fabric is fire-retardant to NFPA 701. The antimicrobial treatment is third-party lab-tested. All that paperwork comes with the install. Goes straight into your compliance folder. Nobody from our side makes you chase for it after the job.
Three floors over a weekend is a normal job for us. We schedule around your ward operations, talk directly to facilities and nursing leads, and make sure each floor is cleared and signed off before anyone comes back Monday.
